Food, Shelter, Water, Clothing (the staples!)
Love (yet another staple)
The ability to learn
My interest, skills and love for EMS
Creativity
Him (oh, you'll find out soon enough)
School
Love (important enough to be mentioned twice)
Now obviously I have a *lot* more to be thankful for. I could go on for pages and pages about the things I appreciate. But for now, (for your sake), that's all I'll write.

- A creative writing major in her junior year at a 4-year state school, Sam hopes to become a Firefighter/Paramedic in Arlington County in the coming years. This blog is slowly becoming her life, and she is currently working on a book by the same title. She volunteers her time as an EMT in a rural town, and works part time as a lab tech at her local emergency room. I wish that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. By the way, those who you will help, will be forever thankful to be attended to by a young woman who have more vision, more thankfulness and gratitude, more thought and class then many, many others who call themselves leaders.
